Remember Me Rescue NY is a foster-based rescue on Long Island. We pull from ACC, Long Island shelters, and take owner surrenders — all breeds, all ages, with a special love for the seniors everyone else overlooks.
Our Story
Remember Me Rescue NY was built on one belief: every dog deserves to be remembered. We rescue from ACC, Long Island shelters, and accept owner surrenders — no breed turned away, no age too old, no medical need too great.
Every dog in our care receives the full veterinary treatment they need, and the emotional support to heal from whatever they've been through. They live in real homes with loving foster families — never a kennel — so we truly know who they are before they meet their forever family.
Senior dogs hold a special place in our hearts. They're the ones most often passed over, but they have so much love left to give. We're always involved in our dogs' lives — and if an adoption ever doesn't work out, we take our dogs back. No questions asked.
